BOOKING & how it works

a studio session is for anyone needing a portrait or a headshot, if you are an actor, creative, model, brand or a musician. each session is 90 mins and if you are an actor would like some headshots and some more creative portraits, or if you just need some headshots just add it in the form below!

When you book a studio session you are paying for the time in the studio. If you would like or just need headshots well then that’s what we’ll do! If you would like something more creative, or more portraits we can do that as well. When booking below let me know as much detail and if you’d like to chat before the session you can request that below.

When the session is over I’ll send you a proof gallery the same day for you to look over and choose the final images. which will then be fully retouched and sent back to you via the gallery for you to download and use wherever you may need!

It’s a £50 non-refundable to book and the remaining £75 on the day.
Sessions are an hour and half long.

Images are priced at £25 and are fully retouched to your liking! There is absolutely no pressure to buy more than you need, you are in control.

  • the best way to prepare is to feel relaxed and comfortable. wear clothes that make you feel great, something that you would wear to meet a friend for coffee. try to avoid large labels because they date the images a lot quicker and can be distracting. 

    coffee, tea, and water are available. there’s a changing room and toilets for you to do your outfits, hair and makeup. free parking is available around the building.

    Please note if you resceduale and it’s within 7 days of the booking and I’m not able to fill the booking slot I won’t be able to refund you and you’ll have to pay another booking fee for the new date.

  • i need to cancel - what should i do?

    let me know asap; send me an email email me at studio@jamesmelia.com. if you want to give your slot to another person, let me know their details so i can contact them.

    please note that i do not refund appointments if they are cancelled with less than 14 days' notice.
